80m2 Livia Benavides is a gallery that specializes in Peruvian contemporary art and its dynamics with the international scene, and which characterizes itself for representing conceptual artists interested in both political and social considerations. The institution actively promotes spaces in which to discuss art and the cultural spectrum through artist talks, publications, and discussion panels. The gallery seeks to lend support to an art that is characterized for its experimentation and risk, given that the existence of critical discourse is essential in order to understand local art, extend its circulation, and assimilate the complex way in which artistic reflection has influenced and continues to influence contemporary events.
